Action Film Pitch: Presentation & Summary
Objective:
Individually or as a small group (no more than 3 individuals) students will propose an idea for an original action film (no sequels please) and write a summary of their proposal. Proposal presentations should remain between 5-10 minutes and both the summary and presentation should highlight the main idea or plot and setting of the film, identify actors/actresses that would be best suited for the leading roles and a director or cinematographer that aligns most with the style or artistic intension for the film. Each presentation should include a display and identify the target audience demographic.

Part 2: Presentation & Display
Discuss the idea for your action film as if you are trying to sell your idea to a studio (be sure to hit all the points you did in your summary in your presentation).
You will also need to include a display; display styles are entirely your choice, but remember that you are trying to capture your audience’s attention. This presentation should be dynamic; in the end, you are trying to sell the audience (a studio) on your original idea for an action film so they will help to fund the making of that film – have fun with it. Keep the whole thing under 10 minutes. |
