Leading Lines & Rule of Thirds
OBJECTIVE:
Students will be required to shoot imagery illustrating a compositional understanding of Leading Lines and Rule of Thirds. Students will be expected to set up their scenes in a way that draws the viewer's attention to a particular area of interest within the frame of the composition that they have composed in the camera.

VOCABULARY:
- Leading Lines – Natural lines created by objects in the image that seem to lead the viewers eye from the edge of the picture to a point of interest within the frame.
- Rule of 3rds - The act of mentally dividing an image into three sections both vertically and horizontally and then positioning your point of interest into one of the four intersecting areas of the picture. (Kind-of like a tic-tac-toe board and placing your subject where the lines cross or in one of the columns/rows).
