Putting Together a Portfolio for Review...
Students are expected to work in the studio to complete a listing of work within the required amount of time provided between reviews, usually about 4 weeks. There is a curricular calendar available under the HOME heading for Photo 1. Each grouping of work should then placed in the display portfolio provided for submission on the assigned due date.
All portfolio submissions should be neatly labeled in an order similar to that of the listing provided by the teacher and illustrate a growth of knowledge and skill through out the term. See General Scoring Guide below.

Feedback & Resubmissions...
Students receive feedback daily through one-on-one conversations with the teacher about test strips and prints as they are working in the darkrooms as well as written feedback on their portfolio after each submission. Students then have the opportunity to participate in a "resubmission" of work. A resubmission is an extended period of time in which students can rework or change imagery that they are unhappy with or that have any technical or chemical errors to change their grade. There is a separate due date for all resubmitted work (noted on the curricular calendar of the class).
Any work received within that resubmission time period can receive up to full credit, but work turned in past the review's resubmission date will not be counted. Please note that there is no resubmissions on the final portfolio because the school calendar does not allow for that extension of time at the end of a term.
